Recently we had the opportunity to sit down and discuss linking strategies with the experts over at all-seo.com

The session provided some great tactics to help site owners increase their presence on the internet. The nice folks over at alta-publishing.com provided a transcript of the discussion and the following text includes excerpts from the conversation.

" People are going to give a lot more credence to someone that goes to that and those were the type of requests that you hope get passed on to the people that are doing their SEO program or the web program and trust, I mean if they trust you and they see that you are doing and if they can look at the site that you are trying to link for and it is doing well and they think it is going to help them too, it is just kind of a natural nexus to partner with those sorts of people.

I don�t spend lot of time trying to look at competitors, I mean you could certainly pull a competitor for a website and try and find out where he is linked and then emulate that. I know that has been a tactic with people who have used in the past but by the same token a lot of those sites naturally are going to come up anyway in your linking pattern or what you are trying to accomplish.
